NordForsk is an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers that provides funding for Nordic research cooperation as well as advice and input on Nordic research policy.
Innovative and cost-effective fuel-ethanol production
Substitution of gasoline with fuel-ethanol from lignocelluloses is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions in the transport sector by up to 90 %. We will just figure out a cheap way of producing it first.
Nordvind
A new project looks into the conditions for wind power development in the Nordic countries.
Climate and Energy Systems; Risks, Potential and Adaption
Will the reservoars fill up? Can wind conditions change? Renewable energy resources are climate sensitive. This project looks at climate impacts in the short run, 20-30 years, focusing on the energy sector.
