The Danish Technological Institute
The Danish Technological Institute develop, apply and disseminate research- and technologically-based knowledge for the Danish business sector.
The Danish Technological Institute provides advice on most renewable energy sources and has the laboratory facilities for development and documentation of:
- Biofuels for electricity generation, heating and transportation
- Biofuel boilers and burning stoves
- Solar heat systems
- Solar cell systems; Integrated facade solutions
- Fuel cells
The most important task is to ensure that new knowledge and technology can quickly be converted into value for the customers in the form of new or improved products, materials, processes, methods and organisational structures. They work together with new and existing companies, either individually or in groups, on ways to enhance technological and management restructuring and efficiency, across a broad range of industries as well as in leading edge sectors.

- Sustainable exploitation of resources
- Cost-effectiveness in company and society
The Danish Technological Institute is approved by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation as a GTS-institute. DTI develop, apply and disseminate research- and technologically-based knowledge for the Danish and International business sector. As such they participate in development projects which are of use to society in close collaboration with leading research and educational institutions both in Denmark and abroad.
On top of this they carry out consultancy and standardisation services, which contribute to a dynamic and harmonious development of society. The Danish Technological Institute is a self-owned and non-profit institution.
