During the offshore wind farm's pilot phase in 2009, Lyse Energi will build a 5 MW prototype floating wind turbine off the coast of Rogaland. Operation is planned to start up in 2010. A demonstration farm with five wind turbines will be built approximately 5 kilometres east of Utsira. The totalt installed output is planned to be 25 MW, and operation might start up in 2012.
