Swedish District Heating Association

The Swedish District Heating Association is working to make the district heating industry an obvious, growing part of an sustainable energy future.

The Swedish District Heating Association (Svensk Fjärrvärme) is a trade organisation for companies in Sweden which generate district heating, combined heat and power and district cooling. The association has more than 130 member companies at locations all over Sweden. In addition to the district heating companies, a further 60 related companies such as suppliers and consultants are affiliated to Svensk Fjärrvärme.

Svensk Fjärrvärme’s members are responsible for 98 percent of the district heating supplied throughout Sweden.
