PlanEnergi is a Danish independent consultancy firm specialising in renewable energy, environment, sustainable systems, energy planning and technology transfer. The company has divisions in North Jutland, East Jutland og in Zealand.
To PlanEnergi it is decisive that any solution they are involved in causes a minimum of problems to the ecological system. To achieve this, tasks are often solved by engineers and biologists in cooperation for instance. 

Biogas project

In Djursland PlanEnergi is the chief adviser in a biogas project consisting of 120 farms and 2 biogas plants all in one company. The plants are designed for the treatment 500 000 tons of biomass a year, and will be producing 22 million m3 of biogas a year. Energy crops will form a major part of the biomass in his project. 

Solar heating

Ulsted district heating plant uses a combination of pellets and solar. In 2005 - 2006 PlanEnergi constructed a 5000 square meter solar heating plant, replacing 20% of their need for pellets. In the summer months the solar collectors cover close to 100 % of heating needs.

Marstal District Heating: PlanEnergi has been adviser to the building owner in connection with the construction of a 10.000 m3 pit heat storage and a 18.300 m2 solar collector heat plant.
