Reykjavik Energy harness hot water from geothermal fields by heating groundwater and distribute to the district heating. In addition, the company produces electricity by using geothermal, high-pressure steam

Reykjavik Energy Invest (REI) is an emerging global leader in the management and development of geothermal energy opportunities. REI was formed in 2007 by a committee appointed by Reykjavik Energy to capitalize on Reykjavik Energy’s leading position in the global utilization of sustainable energy.
