"One-stop-shop" solar power

Solkraft provides professional services and products to the international photovoltaic market. The company is a “one stop” opportunity for companies who want to develop large scale ground or rooftop based solar photovoltaic power plants.

Norsk Solkraft AS is a vertically integrated company on the lower side of the Photovoltaic (PV) Value Chain. The nexus of Norsk Solkrafts business model is the Photovoltaic Power Plant and our mission is to manufacture and provide products and services that add superior value to PV power plants around the world.

Photovoltaic Power Plants

Solkraft is an early stage project developer, system integrator and owner of PV power plants. We develop permits and licences to construct PV power plants, provide design, engineering and project management services in addition to offering complete turn key installation to end customers.

Solkraft has strong competence in developing solar power plants in Italy, Spain and Bulgaria with currently 7 MW power plants ready to construct out of a total pipeline of over 100 MW projects.

Solkraft Mounting Systems

Solkraft Mounting System (SMS) provides standard and customized mounting structures to both ground and roof projects. . SMS products are designed by installers for installers to cut costs and speed up mounting time both on ground installations and rooftops.

The main components of the SMS products are corrosion resistant aluminium that guarantees a maintenance free life cycle. Other parts are stainless steel bolts and brackets connecting the aluminium profiles.

Solkraft Cooling Modules

This product is developed to solve the problem of electricity production losses in photovoltaic power plants situated in high solar irradiation areas combined with high ambient temperatures.

High operating temperatures in solar cell panels is a major problem in the solar industry because the solar cells lose 0,5 % efficiency for each degree Celsius increase in temperature. It is therefore important from an energy output perspective to reduce the operating temperature of the solar cells.

Solkraft has developed a proprietary technology to cool down solar panels and improve the power output. In field tests, power output increase of 10-15% has been measured with this new patented panel design. Solkraft is working with partners in the Middle East, USA and Southern Europe to build production facilities and market positions.
