Morphic has in a short time established itself as a fast growing player in wind power. The business comprises development and manufacture of turbines, manufacture of towers and other components, and associated services.

Products

Morphic markets and sells individual wind turbines as well as entire wind parks. The company can provide individual turbines up to entire wind parks for onshore (wind classes IEC 2 and 3) and offshore (wind class IEC 1) locations.

  • Small wind turbines of 20 kW designed for demanding applications such as off-grid telecom base stations and farms. Main characteristics are high availability, reliability and long service intervals.
  • 1 and 3 MW wind turbines: Production and sale of 1 and 3 MW wind turbines is conducted in partnership with WinWinD of Finland.
  • 2 and 2.5 MW Wind turbines produced and sold in partnership with the global wind turbine maker Kenersys
  • 3.5 MW and larger wind turbines: Wind turbines with capacities of 3.5 MW or more that are specially designed for the IEC 1 and IEC 2 wind classes.
  • Tower production
  • Service: Morphic offers servicing and maintenance of wind turbines.
  • Heavy mechanical processing: One of Sweden’s leading providers of renovation and maintenance services for hydroelectric power stations.

 

The towers for the turbines are produced at the group’s own production plant in Kristinehamn, Sweden. The remaining components, including turbines, are provided under partnership agreements with a number of business partners. In addition to sales of complete turbines, Morphic also offers service agreements, providing fast local service.

Operations are conducted through Morphic Wind AB and ScanWind AS, which is part-owned by Morphic.
