WinWinD is a manufacturer and supplier of reliable 1 and 3 mW low-speed wind turbines. An advanced planetary gear solution and low speed synchronous generator form the heart of the concept, which combines the reliability of a modern direct drive and the compactness of the traditional high speed gear system.

The solutions

WWD-1, rotor diameters of 56, 60 and 64 metres. The 56 metre diameter turbine is suitable for higher wind speed sites (IEC wind class II) while the 60 and 64 metre diameter turbines provide higher energy yields at lower wind speed sites.

WWD-3, rotor diameters 90 and 100 metres. With the option of a 100 metre rotor diameter it can provide higher energy yields at lower wind speed sites, while the 90 metre rotor diameter option is for higher wind speed sites (IEC wind class II).

The company offers a global service and maintenance package which provides complete peace of mind for the long term operation of your turbines. The remote monitoring system and network of professional local service partners provide 24 hour response, ensuring the best care possible for your turbines.

WinWinD is rapidly expanding its operations on a global scale and has erected 1 and 3 mW turbines in several countries across Europe. The company holds head office in Helsinki and assembly plants in Finland and India.
